Yard

Yard
Colloquial term for a billion dollars. Most often used in currency trading. For example – A billion yen equals USD 10 million. It’s more understandable when the investor says that he wants to buy ‘one yard of yen’ than when he says that he wants to buy ‘one billion yen’ which can be misheard as ‘one million yen’.
