1.50% APY on Savings Account at Northern Star Credit Union

06/20/2012 8:00 am Filed Under: Savings Account by Sophia Ryan

You can earn 1.50% APY on balances of up to $25,000 in your savings account in Northern Star Credit Union . That is 0.25% greater than the rate offered on any nationally available savings account.

Since the APY is offered on a Kasasa Saver Account, you must first open a Kasasa cash rewards checking account where you get a 2.35% APY on balances up to $25,000.

In either of the two accounts, the APY is 1% for balances above $25,000, which is a lot for a savings account.
