03/09/2011 1:29 am Filed Under: Savings Account by Sophia Ryan

Magnolia Federal Credit Union is offering good deals for those with both savings and checking account. With a Kasasa Saver account, you will get 1.51% APY on the money in it. This is better than the best savings rate of 1.31% that SFGI Direct is paying.

Magnolia FCU is giving 3.51% APY for a minimum balance of $10,000 to those with a Kasasa Cash rewards checking account. This is better than the 3.03% APY that Coulee Bank, LaCrosse is paying.

The interest earned with the checking account will be sent to your saver account. To earn these rates, make 10 transactions through your debit card, use online banking, and receive a direct deposit and e-statements. If these requirements are not met in a month, the rate will fall to 0.10% APY.
