Lone Star Bank, is offering 0.50% APY on high-yield online savings account with $200 minimum deposit requirement. The bank charges $200 to avoid other fees and a $6 monthly account maintenance fee.

This account does not include check writing service. The bank offers a special discount of $100 on opening balance for students who wish to have a savings account. All funds are FDIC insured and the interest is compounded daily and credited to the account every quarter.
