Intervest National Bank, is offering 0.30% APY on high-yield online savings account with $100 minimum opening balance requirement. The bank charges $500 to avoid extra fees and $6 fee for account maintenance.

You would have to maintain a minimum balance of $500 to earn the specified interest with this account. This account does not include check writing service. However, you can opt for checking accounts if you prefer to write many checks a month.
