Intervest National Bank, is offering 0.30% APY on online savings account for a minimum opening balance of $100. The bank charges $500 fee to avoid penalty, and a monthly fee of $4 for account maintenance.

This account does not come with check writing service, but the bank offers free online banking service and an ATM card for cash withdrawal. You can link this account to your existing checking account for fund transfers.
