This is a follow up to my last post about the IRS “helping” oil spill victims. On Saturday July 17th the IRS Taxpayer Assistance Centers in several locations will be open to help victims of the BP oil spill.
Locations open July 17th from 9am to 2pm:

– 7180 9th Ave. North, Pensacola, Fla.
– 2600 Citiplace Centre, Baton Rouge, La.
– 423 Lafayette St., Houma, La.
– 1555 Poydras Street, New Orleans, La.
– 11309 Old Highway 49, Gulfport, Miss.
If your business was affected negatively by the oil spill or it some how hurt you financially the IRS says they will work with you. For instance if you’re unable to make your quarterly payments or if you just have questions.
