Poland expected to get Europe’s first Bitcoin Embassy

A Bitcoin Embassy – or center – coming to a location near you?

It has been reported that Europe will be receiving one of its very first bitcoin embassies on Monday in Warsaw, Poland. Experts say that this is a sign that the bitcoin community and the peer-to-peer decentralized digital currency are moving forward at a very fast rate.

The embassy will be stationed at 45 Krucza Street, which is in the epicenter of Warsaw. The primary purpose of such an establishment is to coalesce cryptocurrency aficionados and consumers who are unaware of the virtual currency market. It will also concentrate on educating consumers, marketing bitcoin to the general public and hosting conferences.

bitcoinAccording to reports, the embassy is being funded through a number of measures, including offering training sessions, sponsoring conferences and selling mining hardware.

Maciej Ziółkowski and Piots Hetzig are the founders of the embassy and they say it could help create a large user base in the Eastern European country.

Similar bitcoin hubs have been launched elsewhere, such as the very popular Bitcoin Center NYC in the United States earlier this year. A three-storey Bitcoin Embassy was also created in Montreal, Quebec in order to “inform, educate and assist individuals and merchants on the use of bitcoin and related crypto-technologies.”

Paris, France is considered to be the next city to be constructing the European Bitcoin Center described as the “La Maison Du Bitcoin.” It is scheduled to open sometime this month.
