1st Commonwealth Bank of Virginia is offering 2.25% APY on CDs for the 60 month term. To avail the rate, savers will have to make a deposit of $1,000.
The same minimum deposit amount will earn 1.75% APY on 36 month CDs and 1.40% APY on 24 month CDs. Only savers who reside in the metro area of Washington DC will qualify for the certificates of deposit.
