TIAA Direct Pays 1.25% APY On Its High Yield Savings Account

TIAA Direct , which has been sitting at the leader board of savings rate for a long time now, is paying an interest of 1.25% on its High Yield Savings Account. A minimum deposit of only $25 is needed for this.

The other two banks which pay above 1% APY for savings account are CIT Bank (1.05% with minimum deposit $25,000) and KeySource Commercial Bank (1.00% with minimum deposit $100 (offline account) / $5,000 (online account)).
