Bank of Glen Burnie is offering a good deal to those with a Christmas Club savings account.

The bank is paying 3.00% APY on the account on amounts up to $5,000. You can use the saved amount for shopping during the next holiday season. To be eligible for the rate, you will have to create an account with the bank anytime before December.

The rate offered through the savings account is better than that on money market and savings accounts nationally.
