F&A Federal Credit Union is paying 1.26% APY to members on its savings account. This is the best rate offered on savings accounts across the nation.

To become a member of F&A Federal Credit Union, you should be employed at the LA County Fire Department, or in a city that contract’s its services. You can also become a member if you or a family member are employed in an area government institution.

Savers who have no connection to the Los Angeles Fire Department, can opt for the savings rate from SFGI Direct. The bank is paying 1.21% APY on its savings accounts.
