University of Iowa Community Credit Union’s offering of a rewards checking account along with a 4.25% APY tops the list of the best deals available nationally.

There are two eligibility criteria that have to be fulfilled for becoming a credit union member and purchasing the certificates of deposit. Firstly, you should either be a resident or employee in Iowa. This includes those located or working in cities like Dubuque and Des Moines, in addition to the alumni of University of Iowa. Secondly, you should have a balance of up to $25,000.
