Union Square Federal Credit Union, Texas, is offering savers 4.15% APY with its Premier Checking Account. This can be availed on a maximum balance of $25,000.

The deal can be earned by those who work or live in Wichita County, and also by those who have a family member in this area.

On balances exceeding $25,000, savers will get 1.01% APY. This is better than the average rate offered on savings accounts across the nation. To be eligible for the rate, you will have to meet the minimum requirements the credit union has set. If not, you will earn just 0.10% APY in a month.
