1.25% APY on Yield Pledge Checking Account at EverBank

06/06/2012 8:09 am Filed Under: Checking Account by Sophia Ryan

Everbank is paying savers 1.25% APY on its checking account for 6 months – after the bank recently upgraded its rate from 1.05% APY.

Called Yield Pledge Checking Account, it requires savers to make a deposit of $1,500 minimum. This is only to open the account, not for availing the rate. Balances up to $100,000 will earn 1.25% APY, but those exceeding it will get only 0.76% APY.
