06/16/2012 8:42 am Filed Under: Checking Account by Sophia Ryan

McGraw Hill Credit Union has a checking account with which it pays 1.00% APY. This does not require savers to make any monthly payments as fees, or to maintain a minimum balance.

To earn the rate, savers have to ensure that their balance does not exceed $250,000. In case it does, they will get only 0.15% APY. On opening the account, which is called S3, you will qualify for a bonus of $30.
