1.00% APY on Metro Checking Account at Acacia Federal Savings Bank

05/24/2012 8:52 am Filed Under: Checking Account by Sophia Ryan

Acacia Federal Savings Bank has a strong rate on its checking account, which can be availed by savers around the country.

With its Metro Checking Account, the bank pays 1.00% APY. You will have to maintain a balance of $25,000 (maximum) to earn the rate. Though the rate is not as high as those offered by a few other financial institutions, the bank pays without requiring savers to meet the extreme balance limits and restrictions others mandate.

The minimum daily balance requirement is $1,000 at Acacia Federal Savings Bank.
