FNBO Direct, is offering 0.85% APY on high-yield online savings account for $1 opening balance. There are no additional fees charged on this account for account maintenance or minimum balance maintenance.

The bank offers free mobile banking and online banking services with this account. However, there is no provision for writing checks. The bank also offers a service called Popmoney that is a very convenient method of transferring funds to or from your FNBO Direct accounts.
