Heritage Bank, is offering 0.30% APY on money market savings account for an opening balance of $1,000. The minimum balance required to earn the specified APY is $1,000 and the bank charges a penalty of $10 upon a low minimum balance.

You can write a maximum of 6 checks a month through this account, along with which you can also enjoy unlimited withdrawals through your ATM card. The bank also provides a statement savings account for an opening balance of $100. You would have to have a minimum balance of $300 to avoid a penalty charge of $2.
