Vermont Federal Credit Union is offering 3.50% APY on 60 month CDs for young savers (below the age of 18) in Vermont. This is available on a minimum deposit of $50.
During the term, the saver can deposit additional amounts to the account.
To avail this certificate of deposit, the saver’s Social Security Number will have to be provided. The child’s parent/guardian should be a joint owner on this CD. Also, the child should have a savings account with a minimum balance of $25 with the credit union.
