Training School in India Offering Educational Course on Bitcoin

Are you totally clueless about bitcoin (BTC)? Are you interested in hopping on the cryptocurrency popularity? Well, there’s a course for that that allows those entering the Information Technology field to learn all you need to know about the digital currency.

It made headlines Thursday that Koenig Solutions, an IT training institution located in India, is offering its students a course on bitcoin. The four-day program teaches students the very basics when it comes to the virtual currency: mining, protocol specifications, secure trading, the future of the bitcoin financial system and much more.

“Participants enrolled for this Bitcoin course will understand what Bitcoin is, the complete process of Bitcoin mining, how to generate Bitcoins, and how they are changing the face of current online payment systems,” the school states in its description of the course. “They will learn to use Bitcoins for transactions in an easy hassle free manner.”

bitcoinThe course takes place in the middle of each month and costs $560.

“The latest rage in the online world, Bitcoin is the new financial language of netizens who prefer paying online for goods and services,” Rohit Aggarwat, Koenig Solutions CEO and founder, was quoted as saying by the Economic Times.

“Participants will be taught about what Bitcoin is, the complete process of Bitcoin mining, how to generate Bitcoins, and how they are changing the face of current online payment systems. They will also learn to use Bitcoins for transactions in an easy hassle free manner.”

It is estimated that there are approximately 30,000 bitcoin owners across India. However, due to clamping down efforts by the central bank, several trading exchanges, such as INRBTC and BuySellBitCo.in, were ordered to suspend their operations – others have restarted their exchanges, like Unocoin, in recent weeks.

Similar to other central banks, India is concerned about the risks of bitcoin, including money laundering, illegal activities, a paucity of legal status and the volatility.
