Streator Onized Credit Union has good 36 and 24 month CDs. The rates are offered only to members of the credit union.

It is offering 1.75% APY on 36 month CDs. This will require a minimum deposit of $1,000. With the same deposit amount, you can earn 1.50% APY on 24 month CDs.

A special CD for a 12 month term is being offered to youth. The credit union will pay 3.00% APY on the CD, if savers make a deposit of at least $500. To avail the CD, you will have to be 21 years or below. The maximum deposit which will qualify for the rate is $3,000.
