Space City Credit Union is offering 2.53% APY on its 60 month certificates of deposit. To get this rate, you will have to make a minimum deposit of $2,000.
The rate is better than that offered to savers across the nation on CDs for the same term. The credit union has another rewarding deal – on its CD for 48 months. The certificate of deposit is offering 2.02% APY for the term.
To qualify for the CD, you will have to be a member of the credit union. You can become a member if you work, reside, go to school or worship in a ten mile radius of two of the credit union’s branches situated in Houston.
