Second Pass Regression
A statistical analysis to analyze the return on a portfolio’s stocks and mutual funds. In the regression analysis, the estimated slope is a measure of the reward borne for a market risk for the period of analysis. Second pass regression is a cross sectional regression of returns of portfolio on betas.
