For the last several years I have shopped exclusively online for everything except food. I do this for two reasons number one being convenience and number two the huge cost savings I get.
For those familiar with Bing Cash Back you know how great this program is but it’s coming to a close very soon. Bing Cash Back was a program run by Microsoft to get people to use their search engine Bing. In return Microsoft offered huge discounts at many retailers, up to 30% at times.
If you missed the Cash Back boat don’t worry I have an even better resource for you to find AWESOME deals on anything from clothes to cars. SlickDeals is a public form where anyone can post deals that they find online or offline. The deals are rated by other forum members on their “hotness” so you know if it’s truly a good deal.
For example last year I purchased a Dell computer monitor combo that retailed for 1700.00 dollars through a deal I found on SlickDeals. What I actually paid was 675.00 dollars shipped to my house! I can tell you I did a ton of research and this deal was the real thing. Another example of an awesome deal I recently jumped on was 24.00 dollars for three pairs of Crocs shoes shipped. I’m not talking about the boat shoes these were much nicer and pricer.
Those are just a couple examples of items I purchased but you can find just about anything you want at a huge discount if you are patient. Check out the Hot Deals forum because this is generally where the best deals will be found.
I must warn you in advance that visiting SlickDeals can actually cost you more money, why? The deals are so hot that it’s hard to not spend money. I find myself buying things that I never even needed but for some reason I can’t stop myself. I may be one of those people that buy things just because they are on sale but I working on that :)
