Ascencia has increased the interest rates for its 6-month CDs to 0.90% from 0.81%, with a minimum deposit requirement of $500.
Two other banks that pay 0.80% APY are Colorado Federal Savings Bank ($5000 minimum deposit) and EH National Bank ($10,000 minimum deposit). These two banks along with Ascencia are the ones which accept deposits from all buyers, irrespective of the place they live, and the mode of application (conventional mail or internet).
