Amazon continues to embark upon its journey into hardware with lines of Kindles and tablets.

On Wednesday, the online retail juggernaut Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) unveiled six new or upgraded devices that will begin to ship in October. These electronic devices are meant to maintain its current customers and enhance its core business of retail and shipping.

Let’s take a look at the latest line of products:

Kindle Fire

Kindle Fire HD 6 starting at $99 ($134 in Canada): six-inch screen, eight gigabyte storage, front and rear HD cameras, quad-core processor up to 1.5 GHz and five different colors to choose from (black, white, magenta, cobalt and citron).

Kindle Fire HD 7 starting at $139: seven-inch screen, front and rear cameras, eight-gigabyte storage, 216 ppi display, dual stereo speakers and is available in five different colors (black, white, magenta, cobalt and citron).

Kindle Fire HD Kids Edition starting at $149: six-inch screen, one-year of Amazon FreeTime Unlimited, Kid-Proof Case, a two-year worry-free guarantee, front and rear cameras and three different colors to choose from (blue, green and pink).

Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) Kindle Voyage starting at $199: high-resolution 300 ppi display, PagePress technology that allows readers to turn pages without lifting a finger, new adaptive front light and the thinnest Kindle ever produced by Amazon.

The $79 is reportedly meant to attract customers in China, Japan and Germany, markets that are starting to use ereaders.

“The team has packed an incredible amount of technology and innovation into the new Fire HDX—an exclusive HDX display, a powerful quad-core processor, a 70% faster graphics engine, exceptional audio with Dolby Atmos, and the fastest Wi-Fi—and it’s still startlingly light,” said Jeff Bezos, Amazon.com founder and CEO, in a statement. “Fire HDX combines best-in-class hardware with exclusive features and services from Fire OS 4 including Firefly, the Mayday button, Family Library, ASAP, and more.”
