59k Apple Inc. (AAPL) Shares Sold at $7.475 Per Share to Al Gore

AAPL NewsAl Gore purchased 59k Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) shares on Tuesday at $7.475 per share. His total purchase cost was about $441,025 for $29,658,120 worth of AAPL stock.

Al Gore was appointed to Apple’s board in 2003 and was given AAPL stock options at the price of $7 per share. In this SEC filing Al Gore exercised his options and gobbled up 59k shares. In the filing you will notice Gore still has 61,574 non-derivative AAPL shares left after the 59k purchase.
